Takt does not collect your data. Everything the app records stays on your device, or in your own iCloud account. There are no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no servers operated by us that receive your information.
Takt saves your training plans, logged workouts, personal records, and app settings. This information is written to your device's local storage. If you sign in with your Apple Account, it is also written to your own iCloud container so it can sync between your devices. We have no access to that container.
With your permission, Takt reads running workouts from Apple Health. It uses them for exactly one purpose: detecting when a run falls on or beside a scheduled leg day, so it can offer to move that session and preserve your recovery.
Revoking access disables automatic run detection. Every other feature continues to work.
With your permission, Takt writes your planned sessions to a dedicated calendar, and reads your existing events to see which days are already busy so it can schedule around them. Calendar information is used on your device only and is never transmitted.
If you choose to sign in, Apple provides a name and an anonymous identifier. These are used to label your profile and enable iCloud sync. They are not transmitted to us. You can use the app fully in Guest mode without signing in at all.
Deleting Takt removes its local data from your device. Data stored in your iCloud account can be removed in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. The app's Backup export lets you keep a copy first if you want one.
Takt is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
